Micarta is a unique and incredibly strong material. It is made by laminating layers of some kind of fabric or paper material, and binding them together with resin. For this pen, I used pieces of a decommissioned fire-hose. The finished blank was then fitted with Titanium Gold and Gunmetal plated "Diamond Knurl" hardware.
